Terms and Conditions

1. Upon purchasing a class package the student is entitled to video feedback  after each week of class and/or classes. The video feedback will be an evaluation of the student's performance during class. By request,  the teacher may ask the student if his/her class can be recorded for the purpose of evaluation by the teacher. Private English Portal agrees to never allow third parties any access to these recordings and guarantees absolute privacy.

2. Cancellation policy for classes is with 24 hours notice. If the student is unable to attend a class, he/she will need to re-schedule his/her class with at least 24 hours before the day of his/her class. If class is cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, it will be considered as a class given. Should the student miss 3 classes in a row without notice he/she will void the classes remaining to which he/she has purchased.

3. Students are encouraged to participate in online activities and groups to ensure the greatest learning experience possible. Private English Portal students are encouraged to share their culture and knowledge with the other students.

4. For your own safety, please make sure to keep your password and login for the Peppy Member's Lounge in a safe place. The membership is valid for the duration of the class package purchased. Should you have any difficulty in downloading your files, please do let us know.

5. All purchases of classes are final and must be used within 30 days of purchase. Purchase must be made at least 24 hours prior to class.

6. All students are required to use headphones during class to allow for the best sound quality during class. Private English Portal uses the best technology possible to ensure that all of our students have the best classes possible.

7. All students are required to do homework except for the conversation level.

8. Students who refer other students to Private English Portal are eligible for a 10% discount.

9. Under no circumstances are students allowed to record classes and/or redistribute Private English Portal class material and videos.

10. Private English Portal will respond to all e-mails and voicemails from students by the next business day.
